Children must turn two years old by August 1st of the school year.
Our 2’s program is a place for children to explore what it means to be in a classroom environment, learn routines, and be exposed to developmentally appropriate activities and skills. Throughout the school year the children will grow in their pre-writing skills, build fine motor strength, learn social and emotional skills, and be exposed to colors, numbers, letters, and shapes. When they are ready, we also assist in potty training and becoming independent in the bathroom. All this will prepare them for their next steps in school and life. |
Children must be fully potty trained and independent in the restroom to be in our three's classes.
Our 3’s program is full of fun with hands-on experiences. Throughout the 3 year old program the children will grow and learn through exploring their environment in new and engaging ways, have hands-on experiences to stimulate the senses, continue social & emotional learning, and be exposed to traditional learning concepts and skills. Our goal for this age is to begin writing skills with proper pencil grasp to trace their names, shapes, and grow in their drawing skills. Letters, numbers, and shapes will be explored and learned throughout the year, preparing them for learning words and spelling in the coming years. |
These classes are designed to help prepare children for their next big step into Kindergarten. We desire that all children feel confident and ready to take on their elementary years and that all starts with a strong foundation. Children will learn in a play based learning environment while developing knowledge of academic concepts. Throughout the year the students will learn how to write their name, learn letter sounds, learn sight words, and begin to practice sounding out words. They will also learn basic math concepts to grow their number and shape knowledge. Teachers will also keep in contact with parents on the progress of their child to make sure they are on track to succeed in their next steps.
