Teacher's Aide
We are looking for Full time Teacher Aide to work in our new Infant/Toddler classroom. The ideal candidate will have a passion for children and partnering with parents and families to guide preschoolers to know the love of Jesus Christ as well as support the overall development of each child. This position is responsible for providing a safe, loving and nurturing environment, actively supervising children, supporting the teacher with implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum, including lessons for spiritual growth and development of the whole child. This position requires that all biblical teachings be in accordance with EFCC’s calling, commitments and practices.
Education: High School diploma and a minimum of 12 college units of Child Development coursework in Early Childhood Education or Childhood Development (with at least 3 units of Infant/Toddler coursework) This person must complete EMSA certified First Aid and CPR training and keep current; complete physical with clearance to work in an early childhood classroom, negative TB test, proof of Immunizations (Pertussis, Measles) and annual proof of Influenza vaccine (or statement declining); complete and pass CDSS Mandated Reporter Certification; and agree to a background check and fingerprinting according to CA. State Law.
