Assistant Director of Preschool and Infant/Toddler Program
Our program is growing and we are looking for a full time Assistant Director to assist in administrative and classroom support for our growing Early Child Development program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for children and partnering with parents and families to guide preschoolers to know the love of Jesus Christ. This position is responsible for assisting the Preschool Director with Administrative tasks, communications with families, providing tours, Curriculum, Social Media communications, filling in the classroom when a Substitute cannot be secured, and other fun tasks! This position requires that all biblical teachings be in accordance with EFCC’s calling, commitments and practices. This position also requires knowledge and experience in customer service, computer skills, planning, communications, etc.

The candidate must have:
- At minimum an AA (BA preferred) and 24 semester units of coursework in Early Childhood Education including units in Administration and Supervision, and 6 units of Infant/Toddler.
- Completed a minimum of 4 years of experience working with children 0-5 years old.
- Candidate must have or be willing to take Preventative Health Class (8 hr. class required for Directors) and EMSA certified First Aid and CPR training and keep current
- Complete physical with clearance to work in an early childhood classroom, negative TB test, proof of Immunizations (Pertussis, Measles) and annual proof of Influenza vaccine (or statement declining)
- Complete and pass CDSS Mandated Reporter Certification, Pesticide Management training; and agree to a background check and fingerprinting according to CA. State Law.
